Stone worked until the site claims it

We are a studio of stone workers and fabricators. Every commission stays on our books until the installation has settled into its ground — not before.

Why we exist

Permanence is a craft standard, not a promise

Groundmark was founded on one discipline: no commission is finished until the stone has weathered its first seasons in place. That standard shapes every material choice, every joint, every installation sequence.

Who we are

A small group with a long view

Our team spans stone carvers, structural fabricators, and site engineers. No project is handed off — the people who read the stone are the people who set it.

We work across civic, institutional, and private sites because the material doesn't distinguish between them. Stone reads the place, not the category.

Work made for where it stands

Every commission begins with a site visit and ends with an installation that has no shortcuts on the setting. See the full sequence of how we get there.
